Ricardo LomelÍ Gómez is a professional drummer currently residing in the south bay/San Jose, California area. He can be found performing regularly in various settings as a freelance musician. He has been actively gigging since 2009. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies (distinguished graduate in the field of Jazz) from Sonoma State University.

       Ricardo's lifelong journey in music has led him to perform in a wide variety of styles and ensembles, including, jazz, cumbia, norteña, ska, afrobeat, progressive rock, chicano rock, reggae, americana/country, funk, r&b, neo-soul, musical theater (pit orchestra), Top 40/Classics cover bands, and more.
